I've grown to love and appreciate Rose Mary through my brother, Mike, and my sister-in-law Linda Judice. She was a part of their family and thereby I had an opportunity to get to know her a little. I enjoyed hearing from by phone but most of all by her cards and letter styled in her perfect penmanship where she was a master even in her older years. She was a beautiful lady in all ways. May she rest in God's peace. Rochelle Berfield, Mineola, TX p.s. This evening my husband Ray and I viewed her Funeral Mass via UTube

Ms. Rosie was such a sweet lady. My earliest memories of her were from High School. I used to see her shopping at Speir’s, and of course, we visited for awhile! Our families have always been close, and she and Royce were best friends with my parents. She was a remarkable wife, mom, friend, and Christian. My sweet friend, Marla, I am so very sorry for your loss. She will truly be missed. Donnie and I send our condolences to you, Debbie, and Kristy during this difficult time.

Rosie was our neighbor in Groves who came over for coffee for many years. I loved how she called me “Sug” in conversation. She always brightened any day with her beautiful smile and great since of humor. She will be missed.

A visit with Rosie was a must-do when we went down to see aunt Marie & uncle Pat (next door neighbors to Rosie). I'm going to miss those visits with her. We have made a lot of memories over the years that I will cherish. She had a compassionate and spirited personality that charmed and blessed our friendship. I am thankful for the years we called each other friends. To know Rosie was to know Christ Jesus because she loved him. Sending my bitter-sweet sympathy to Marla, Debbie and Kristie.

Every time I made gumbo or a pork roast after tasting Aunt Rosie's, I always wondered if I was even close to getting it like hers! She was one of the best cooks I've ever know and I cherish all of her cooking tips and recipes. My favorite memories were of drinking coffee and just talking. She is a sweet soul that will be missed, but welcomed into the gates of heaven by her sweet Royce. I'm so happy for her total and complete healing and we as Christians will rejoice in seeing her again.

My fondest memory of Aunt Rose was going over to her and Uncle Bubba's house when I was a little girl. I would also get to visit Nanny (Debbie) Kristie and Marla. I would always have my blankye in tow and she and Nanny would put band-aids on "his" holes and re sew the satin back. I am 43 and still have blankye sans band-aids (still has holes) and now no more satin at all. She was a great nurturer among several other things. A sad day for us but a great day for her and Uncle Bubba.
