Rose Ann Quebedeaux, a beloved matriarch, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2025, at her residence in Port Neches, Texas. She was surrounded by her loving family at the age of 85. Born on February 27, 1939, in Port Arthur, Texas, Rose lived a life marked by dedication to her family and her faith.
Rose devoted 28 years of her life to public service, retiring as the Justice Clerk from the Jefferson County Sub-Courthouse. Her professional legacy reflects her commitment to justice and her unwavering work ethic. Outside of her career, she was a woman of profound faith and a devout parishioner of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Port Neches.
Throughout her life, Rose embraced hobbies that brought her joy. She found solace in yoga and enjoyed staying active at the YMCA, where she formed lasting friendships. Her culinary skills were unmatched, with meatballs being her undisputed specialty that will be fondly remembered by family and friends alike. Additionally, she cherished moments spent fishing, traveling, shopping, and tending to her beloved flowers, which brought vibrancy into her life.
Rose's family will carry forward her legacy of love and strength. She is survived by her children: Mark Quebedeaux and Cindy Hyland Segura of Crystal Beach; Cabrina Morrell and her husband, Andy of Beaumont; and Mary Marioneaux and her husband, Danny of Port Neches. Her grandchildren: Chris Marioneaux and his wife, Christine; Jason Marioneaux and his, wife Cassie; Michael Marioneaux and his wife, Katie; Nick Morrell and his wife, Krystal; Caitlin Morrell-Palmer and her husband, Jordan; and Haley Morrell, will remember her fondly along with her great-grandchildren: Colton, Cade, Bob, Lainey, Gwen, and Addie. Rose is also survived by her sister, Nickie Gonsoulin; her brother, Jack Graffagnino; and her sister-in-law, Beverly Mays.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lena J. (Drago) Graffagnino and Frank J. Graffagnino, and her beloved husband, Robert "Bobby" Quebedeaux, Jr., whose memory she cherished until the end.
The family would like to thank Rose’s angels, Evelyn, Val, and Ammy; Harbor Hospice and her nurse, Kathy for the love and care they provided to her and her family.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., with the rosary to be recited at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, January 5, 2025, at Melancon Levingston Funeral Home located at 2001 Nall St, Port Neches, TX. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Monday, January 6, 2025, at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, located at 2006 Nall Street, Port Neches. Rite of Committal will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
Rose Ann Quebedeaux will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, whose spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
