Rosemary Hardy

Rosemary Hardy, 95, of Groves, Texas passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, January 21, 2018. Rosemary was born March 3, 1922 in Port Arthur, Texas to Clement Sinitiere and Celina Pitre Sinitiere. She was a resident of Groves for 59 years and retired from Port Neches ISD after many years of service as a custodian at Van Buren Elementary. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Allen Hardy; son, Marcus Hardy; brother, Lawless Sinitiere; sister, Margaret Berwick; four biological sisters, Mary White, Thelma Williams, Gladys Chandezon, and Norma Gautreaux. Survivors include her daughter, Celina Allen and husband Ronnie of Groves; grandchildren, Misty Wellborn and husband James, Christopher Allen and Jodie Kasper; great-granddaughter, Lilliana Wellborn; dear friend, Novella Dies and family; and her loyal protector, Rebel. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. A visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday evening from 5:00 p.m.-8:30 p.m. with a 6:30 p.m. Rosary at the funeral home.
