Rosetta Mary Bonura, 93, of Port Arthur was born May 24, 1921 to the late Nick and Mary Pavia Bonura, passed away Saturday, November 8, 2014 at her residence in Port Arthur.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Catherine Catholic Church in Port Arthur with Rev. Kevin Badeaux officiating. Entombment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Port Arthur under the direction of Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland. A gathering of the family and friends will be from 5 to 8 pm Monday with a Rosary to be recited at 6 pm at the funeral home.

Rosetta is survived by her brother, Louis Bonura and her many cousins and extended family

Rosetta worked in the Laboratory at Texaco Refinery and the Grocery business in Nederland. Her time was spent helping her family and relatives, especially those who were ill. She loved and followed her catholic faith.

Louis wishes to give thanks to Hospice Texas Home Health with special thanks to Shelly. Dawn, and Theresa for their love and attention, also her dearest caretaker, Romona Celestine.

Also a special thanks to Dr. Hayley Ho for her love and support to all our friends and family for their many visits and kindness.
