Roxanne Rohwedder

Roxanne Rohwedder, 82, of Groves, Texas passed away Monday, July 6, 2020 at Oak Grove Nursing Home. Roxanne was born February 7, 1938 in DeQuincy, Louisiana to the late Henry and Mildred Joffrion. She was a member of Twin City Church of God in Port Arthur. Roxanne was an avid reader and loved collecting Avon products.
Roxanne was preceded in death by her parents, Henry William Joffrion and Mildred Nell Rickey Joffrion; sisters, Romaine Phelps and Laverne Light; brother, Clay Joffrion.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Kirk Rohwedder and his wife, Linda of Buna, TX; Sharon Tipton of Burleson, TX; grandchildren, Dustin Nations, Travis Rohwedder and his wife, Summer; Jamie Cadena and her husband, Mark; Dayne Tipton and his wife, Kayla; 8 great grandchildren; close friend and caregiver, Carol Munson and her children, Amanda Rafferty of Kansas; Lacey Munson of Nederland, TX; and Katie Johnston of Sour Lake, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A gathering of friends and relatives will be Thursday, July 9, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., at Melancon’s Funeral Home. Funeral services for Ms. Roxanne will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 10, 2020 at Melancon’s Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park.
Due to Coronavirus-19 we request that friends and relatives practice social distancing while attending Roxanne’s visitation and service. All guests are required to wear a face mask before entering the funeral home.
