Roy Barbosa, 89, of Beaumont, Texas passed away October 23, 2010. He was born in Port Arthur, Texas on January 30, 1921 to the late Leo and Carmon Barbosa. He proudly served his country during WWII in U. S. Army.He is the loving husband of Mercedes Jinez Barbosa of Beaumont cherished father of Lydia Ramirez and husband George of Beaumont and Yolanda Daigle and husband Paul of Lumberton cherished grandfather of 4 grandchildren, Jay Ramirez, Ronnie Ramirez, Troy Daigle, and Shannon Lloyd and 7 greatgrandchildren, Abigail Ramirez, Aaron Ramirez, Christopher Ramirez, Chelsey Daigle, Kirsty Daigle, Ambri Lloyd, and Addi Lloyd.He is preceded in death by his parents 4 brothers, Jesse, Johnny Mike, and Ellis Barbosa and sister, Lupe Dominquez.Visitation will be held for family and friends Tuesday, October 26, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a testimonial time at 7:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home in Nederland. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, Rev. Reggie Lloyd officiating.
