Roy Tennis Smith, 78, of Port Neches, Texas passed away Monday, August 11, 2014 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont, Texas. Roy was born February 14, 1936 in Groves, Texas to Ralph Smith and Ouida Byrom Smith. He was a lifelong area resident and retired from the maintenance department of the Port Arthur Independent School District. He was a member of Magnolia Assembly of God Church in Port Neches and a U.S. Air Force veteran. Survivors include his wife, Glenda Smith of Port Neches, TX; one son, Cody Smith and wife, Ronna of Port Neches, TX; two grandsons, Rory Smith and wife, Brooke and Colby Smith; great-grandchild, Adriel Smith; five nieces and two nephews. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at Magnolia Assembly of God Church. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 14, 2014 at Magnolia Assembly of God Church followed by the burial at Oak Bluff Memorial Park under the direction of Levingston Funeral Home of Groves.
