Roy L. Tournear, 78, of Orange, Texas passed away Saturday, November 3, 2012 at Magnolia Manor in Groves, Texas. Roy was born April 30, 1934 in Quincy, Illinois to Ralph Tournear and Zelma Duskirk Tournear. He was a resident of Orange for 40 years and was a delivery driver for Howard's Automotive. He served with the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict, and also played for the original Beaumont Exporters baseball team. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Helen Tournear; two daughters, Teresa Tournear and Holly Matt and her husband, Cary all of Orange, TX; two sons, Mark Breuer and Frank Breuer and his wife, Elisa all of Groves, TX; two sisters, Millie Pelas of Abbeville, LA, and Norma Motts and her husband, Ed of Brookland, MS; one brother, Al Tournear of Orange, TX; eight grandchildren, Crystal, Brandie and her husband Chuck, Steven and his wife, Jenny, Hannah, Jonathan, Taylor, Tanner, and Leslie; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Steve Bryan officiating.

I remember Al's brother Roy when I worked at Howards's Auto Supply. Roy was always in good spirits and always put a smile on everyone's face. He was an absolute joy to be around. God bless you, Roy. You will be missed. You are in a much better place now.
