Ruby Dell Collier, 90, of Port Neches, TX, passed away Friday, August 12, 2016.

Ruby was born June 9, 1926 in San Benito, TX to the late Martin Woolbright and Minnie Blassingame Woolbright.

She is survived by her sons, Lonnie Collier and wife Mona of Port Neches, TX, Wayne Collier and wife Jan of Port Neches, TX; daughter, Donna Boyd and husband Ross of Port Neches, TX; brother, Jack Woolbright of Louisiana; grandchildren; Heather Jones-Newcost, Misty Emmons, Ashli Waldrep, Crystal Waldron; great-grandchildren; Jace Emmons, Kobe Emmons, Elisha Jones, Greyson Waldron, Henley Waldron; and a host of loving nieces and nephews.

Ruby is proceeded in death by her loving husband, Everett Collier; parents, Martin

Woolbright and Minnie Blassingame Woolbright; daughter, Gwendolyn Griffin and five brothers.

Ruby loved dancing and enjoyed taking care of her family, especially her grandchildren.

There will be a gathering of family and friends at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland on Monday, August 15, 2016 beginning at 1:00 p.m. with the funeral service will begin at 2:30 p.m. with Reverend James Brown, officiant.

Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches, TX.
