Ruby Theresa Guidry, 91, of Orange, Texas passed away Thursday, August 30, 2018. She was born in Port Arthur, Texas on December 2, 1926 to the late Albert Joseph Rebert and Antonia Marie Boutte Rebert.

Those left to cherish Ruby’s memory are her son, Louis Howard Baker of Orange; her grandchildren, Louis H. Baker, Jr., Tracie Baker, and Jennifer Frederick; 7 great- grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; and her sisters, Joyce Pellerin, Ethel Harris, and Hazel Rebert Holtzclaw; and her brothers, George Mickey Rebert and Earl Joseph Rebert.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland on Friday, September 7, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with a memorial service to follow.

Ruby was such a sweet lady. I'll always remember her. Brent worked for her while we lived in the apartments she managed. She was always quick to mail out her Christmas cards. Hers was always the first one I received every year. A very sweet lady. Who was always Pleasant to be around. She will be missed!
