Ruby May Hardy

Ruby May Hardy, 84, of Nederland, Texas passed away January 14, 2013 at ChristusSt. Mary Hospital in Port Arthur. She was born in Port Arthur, Texas on October 31, 1928 to the late Leed J. and Eunice Mouton Hardy. She was a teacher and taught at C. O. Wilson. She attended Sam Houston State Teachers College and graduated from St. James High School in Port Arthur. Ruby was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Nederland.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Nederland on Friday, January 18, 2013 at 10:00 a.m., Father David Placette celebrant. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves. A gathering of family and friends will be held at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 17th with a rosary being recited at 6:00 p.m.Ruby is survived by her brothers, L. J. Hardy and wife, Joy of Nederland and Gene Hardy and wife, Mary of Port Arthur 10 nieces and nephews 25 great nieces and nephews and 6 greatgreat nieces and nephews.

So sorry to hear about Rubys passing. I will always remember her reading her books....when she would come to the Sr. citizen center. She is at peace now....I am sure you have good memories too. Hold on to them. God Bless all of you
