Ruby Katherine Wooding, 89, of Nederland, Texas passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2022 in Ward, Arkansas. Ruby was born in Pine Ridge, Texas on June 24, 1932 to the late, Daniel Griffin and Ruby Mae Buck Griffin.

Those left to cherish Ruby’s memory include her daughters, Charlotte Lisenby of Nederland, Texas and Pam Brown of Arkansas; and her son, James M. Wooding, Jr. of Kountze, Texas.

Ruby is preceded in death by her parents, Daniel Griffin and Ruby Mae Buck Griffin; her son, Joe Michael Wooding; daughter, Deborah Kaye Wooding; brother, Eugene Griffin and her husband of sixty-seven years, James Wooding, Sr. who passed away on August 8, 2018.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, June 24, 2022 at Hillcrest Baptist Church, 3324 Park Drive, Nederland, Texas from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. The funeral service will begin at 11:30 a.m.

Interment will follow at Pine Ridge Cemetery in Sour Lake, Texas at 2:30 p.m.
