Ronald Russell Surette, 64, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2023, at his residence with his loving family at his side.
Russell was born on April 7, 1958, in Port Arthur to Mae Huffman Surette and R. P. Surette. He was a self-employed maintenance and service tech and a member of the Catholic faith.
Russell had a passion for music and was a talented drummer and singer. He loved classic rock and it was evident in his everyday life, and he enjoyed sharing his love for it with others.
Russell had a big heart and would help out anyone in need, even if it was hard for him to find the means to do so. He would literally give you the “shirt off his back”. The most important thing to Russell was his family, especially the love of his life, Bee.
He was a fun guy to hang around with and was the “life of the party” many times around family and friends. Russell loved the Dallas Cowboys; enjoyed cooking crawfish and gumbo. He was hard working; intelligent; he was the “go to guy” when anything was needed. Russell was beloved by family, friends, co-workers and anyone who had the pleasure of being in his life. We want to say thank you for being our rock; we will miss you.
