There are no words to express the sadness I feel now for your loss. When the pain of death becomes overwhelming, we can turn to God in prayer. The Bible tells us to "throw all of your anxieties on him, because he cares for you," (1 Peter 5:7). Take comfort in knowing that he loves us and that "one day he will wipe tears from our eyes, and that death will be no more,"(Isaiah 25:8). I hope this scripture gives you peace and endurance during this time of bereavement.

Ruth warmly received us so many times for family gatherings. She was a generous and loving daughter, aunt, sister, mom, and wife. We will miss her.

Ruth was a beautiful sister-in-law with a rapier wit. And her laugh was delightful. She kept all of us on our toes.
