Ruth Naoma Sain Irvine, 97, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Gulf Health Care Center. Ruth was born September 24, 1917 in Trinity, Texas to Albert Hill Sain and Claudia Robinson Sain. She was a homemaker and member of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Guy Irvine. Survivors include her daughter, Claudia Prescott and husband Gerald of Etoile, TX; two sons, James R. Irvine of Estes Park, CO, and Ted G. Irvine and wife Priscilla of Port Arthur, TX; four grandchildren, Timothy Irvine, Mary E McFadden, Kevin Prescott, Jason Prescott; and eight great-grandchildren. A visitation for family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m., Sunday, April 12, 2015 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 13, 2015 at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches with Reverend Kevin Prescott officiating.
