Ruth Richey, 86, of Bridge City, Texas died Thursday, February 12, 2015 at The Medical Center in Port Arthur, Texas. Ruth was born April 4, 1928 in Vinton, Louisiana to Jesse Walter Vincent and Mary Ella Stephens Vincent. She was a resident of this area for 55 years and a member of the Family Worship Center in Orange, Texas. Ruth was the Office Manager for Richey Heating and Air Conditioning. Visitation for family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 14, 2015 at the Family Worship Center in Orange followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Tony Story officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Donald B. Richey. Surviving relatives include her daughters, Daena Jeane and husband Marty of Arlington, Texas; Rhonda Richey of Carpinteria, California; son, Randal Richey of Arlington, Texas; sister, Denise Vincent of Baytown, Texas; brother, Jerry Vincent and wife Jerry of Kirbyville, Texas; grandchildren, Alex and Natalie Jeane.

Mrs. Richey, Your family and friends were a balm to our soul as they waited in the ICU for you and we waited for my dad. I can tell you were a fabulous person just by meeting some of them. I know you are having a glorious time in heaven today. Glory to God!
