Ruth Marie Smith travelled home to heaven on May 24, 2016, to join 'the love of her life', her husband, Chuck Smith. Ruth was born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi and was a 60 year resident of Nederland. Survived by her brother, Sidney Kelley of Richardson her son, Wayne Bloomfield daughters, Rosalie Lowe and Shari' Bloomfield Harris and husband, Terry Harrisgrandchildren, Amanda & Mallory Lowe, Cody Marie Bloomfield, Taylor Hernandez, Lynn Harris & Mondi Harris Hebert, great grandchildren Daxton & Marley Hebert and Remi Harris special family members, Carolyn Harris and Emma Bloomfield and dear friends Gloria and Faye. A celebration of Ruth's life will be held at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches, on Friday, May 27 at 11:00 a.m., when family visitation will begin, followed by a memorial service at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, following the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
