S.D., and Larry, I am very sad of hear of the passing of Ruth. Ruth was my kind, thoughtful and gracious mentor during the early days of my childhood marriage to Ray. I have never met a more truly gracious person than Ruth. None of us ever forgot the mounds of shrimp we ate at Ruth's table. Looking back now, I know she must have been tired but I never noticed it once; her laughter and love sang out so loud to us. My children, Regina and Jerry Strickland absolutely loved their Aunt Ruth. It was so much fun to have you and Ruth married in our home. S.D., please be kind to yourself as you grieve Ruth's passing. Remember, there is eternity to which we look forward and cherish the day when we shall be with our loved one. I will be praying for you and Larry for strength as you lean on God at this time and feel his love surrounding you. I do have a picture of you and Ruth with Regina and Jerry that I would like for you to have. Jean

God Blessed you and us with being a great Aunt. We will miss you and the world lost a wonderful lady but heaven has gained one. I wish I had not been so far away all these years so that I could have spent more time with you. Thanks for all the things you did for us when Regina and me were children. I still remember the trip to a Western Town near Jasper when we were kids and got to ride horses. I glad your suffering has ended and know that you are in a much better place. God Bless you Ruth and SD during his time of great loss. The Stricklands Livingston, MT
