Sarah Riggins Rolison, 89, of Nederland, Texas passed away January 25, 2011 at Magnolia Manor in Groves. She was born November 26, 1921 in Marshallburg, North Carolina to the late Thomas Wingate and Jane Hill Riggins. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Nederland.She is survived by her daughter, Sally Bailey and husband Roy of Nederland granddaughter, Sherri Bodensteiner and husband Jack of Nederland 2 grandson, Timothy Rolison and wife Dawn of Nederland and Jim Bailey of Nederland 3 greatgrandsons, Ryan Braquet and wife Liz, Alex Bodensteiner, and Hunter Rolison greatgreatgranddaughter, Mallory Braquet 2 sisters, Mary Willis of Morehead City, North Carolina and Emma Dunn of Beaufort, North Carolina and 2 daughterinlaws, Darlene Rolison of Nederland and Barbara Rolison of Clearwater, Florida. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Rolison 3 sons, Ronald Rolison, Jimmy Rolison, and Tommy Rolison 2 daughters, Mary Joyce Rolison and Lucy Mae Rolison and granddaughter, DeAnna Sanders.A gathering of family and friends will be held Saturday, January 29, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Melancon39s Funeral Home, 1605 Avenue H, in Nederland. Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 30, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Melancon39s Funeral Home, Rev. Donald Bean officiating.
