Sally's strength came from her determined faith in God. Demons trembled when she put her feet on the floor each morning to go to work. While she may have caused her coworkers to tremble as well on occasion, her loving spirit and contagious humor won many friends. She planted many good seeds of God's truth and she will be greatly missed by her friends as well as her family.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Sally's family. She always had wonderful things to say about them all. Her spirit and flare will be deeply missed by many and never forgotten. ***Though she stumbles, she will not fall, For the Lord upholds her with his right hand. -Psalm 37.24- Til we meet again my friend. Words cannot express how truly missed Sally is in our hearts and in the halls of Mason Construction. Sally was never short on words of encouragement, perfectly timed bible verses, unbelievable stories, or her love of good music. She would often sing to herself. I guess she thought no one could hear her, but we did. Even though we laughed with her about it, I can still hear those songs of praise to her Father echoing in the background. Some may have thought that she didn't know she was doing it, but I'm pretty sure she was just trying to share the same joy and hope that was in her heart with the rest of us. Sally's strength and faith were an inspiration to us all. No matter how many times the doctors told her that the cancer had come back, she just smiled and said, "That cancer doesn't know my God. Either way, it will never beat us." It never did. In the end, Sally is right where she wanted to be. She is finally Home. We love you Sally! Le Short & Family

To each and everyone of you, my wife and I wish to share your burden of grief through prayer for the family. Sally and I have been friends for many years going way back to Trinity Baptist Church in Port Arthur. We lost touch over the years but did reunite recently. God has another angel that will keep all of them smiling!!!

Ms. Sally, There wasn't a day that went by at work that you wouldn't make me laugh hysterically. Everyday was a new life lesson or a funny story from your younger days. You'd greet me with a big bear hug and call me darling after every sentence. You kept me right under your wing since I'm the youngest one at the office. I'll never forget our constant talks about various TV shows and your love for your family. I wasn't very close to either of my grandmothers, and you treated me like I was one of your own. Rest in peace, my friend. Till we meet again, Hillary

Sally was right beside me for years. She was there when I started and she'll be there always in my heart. Her open and quirky way might have fooled some, but her true caring for the people in her life showed through in everything she did, every day. You will be missed Sally, but Heaven is lucky to have you.
