Scott Edward Granger, 49, of Woodville passed away Sunday, December 20, 2015 at St. Luke’s Health-The Woodlands Hospital. A native of Port Arthur, he lived in Woodville for 30 yrs. He was employed with Tyler County Tractor in Woodville, as a mechanic with 11 yrs. of service.
Funeral services for Scott will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland, with Father Kevin Badeaux officiating, with interment to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A gathering of Scott’s family and friends will be from 5 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at the funeral home, with a rosary recited at 6:00 p.m.
Scott is survived by his daughter, Autumn Granger of Woodville; sister, Lisa Granger of Woodville; brother, Kenneth (Whity) Granger of Beaumont; his Uncle Bob Granger and his wife, Darlene of Woodville. Scott was also, survived by the love of his life, Lajuana Weatherspoon, of Woodville, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Scott will be greatly missed and loved by all. Scott is preceded in death by his parents Joe Granger and Dolores Robin Parson.
