Scott Kinere, 54, of Nederland, Texas passed away Monday, June 25, 2018 at Houston Methodist Hospital. Scott was born August 18, 1963 in Kosrae, Micronesia to Hiroshi Kinere and Amako Jonas Kinere. He was a resident of this area for 30 years and a Fabricator with Metalforms in Cheek, Texas. Scott was a member of Landmark United Pentecostal Church in Port Neches. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Landmark United Pentecostal Church with Reverend James Lee officiating under the direction of Levingston Funeral Home Port Neches. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, June 29, 2018 at the church. Scott was preceded in death by 2 sisters. Surviving relatives include his wife, Bonnie Kinere of Nederland, Texas; sons, Zach Kinere of Nederland, Texas, Dale Day and wife Christy of Moscow, Idaho, David Day and wife Kim of Corsicana, Texas; daughters, Sheila Powers and husband Jeff of Houston, Texas, Holly Horton of Groves, Texas; 7 brothers; 8 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
