Sharon Jo Courville, 61, of Groves, Texas passed away on Friday, May 20, 2022 at MD. Anderson in Houston, Texas.

Born in Harlingen, Texas on January 17, 1961, she was the daughter of Grover Joe Selman Sr. and Joann Frasier Selman. Sharon was a lifelong area resident and was employed by Applied Standards Inspection. We, the family, would like to extend our gratitude to the ASI family for being so supportive and kind. Sharon loved cooking Sunday dinners for the family and her grandkids meant the world to her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Grover Selman; father-in-law, Jimmie Courville and nephew, Chad Harper.

Sharon is survived by her husband, Bryan Courville of Groves; son, Steven Hotcaveg of Groves; daughter, Madelyn Dixson and husband Ryan of Groves; son, Dylan Courville of Groves; four grandchildren, Jackson Hotcaveg, Noah Hotcaveg, Joplin Dixson and Rowan Dixson; sister, Gale Burks and husband Kyle of Groves and brother, Grover Joe Selman Jr. and wife Katrina of Chandler.

A celebration of life is pending through Levingston Funeral Home.
