Sharon Wainright Graffagnino, 72, was born March 14. 1942 in Port Arthur, Texas, and passed away September 16, 2014 at St. Mary's Hospital. She was in the Bishop Byrne graduating class of 1960. She worked for many, many years at FB Taylor Insurance as a commercial agent and office manager. In 1996, she earned her Certified Insurance Counselor license, earned by only 1% of women in the field of insurance. A devout Catholic, Sharon was a long-time member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Port Neches. There, she served as Eucharistic Minister, and was a CCD teacher for 5th graders. She was preceded in death by her mother, Beatrice Wainright. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Sammy Graffagnino. She is also survived by her four children: sons Ray Graffagnino of Lake Charles, Jude Graffagnino and his wife Jerri of Orangefield, daughters Jill Graffagnino of Groves and Jana Harville and her husband Russell of Baytown; four granddaughters: Danielle Sheppard and her husband Corey, Brianna & Emily Graffagnino, and Jess Harville, and great-granddaughter Jayleigh Sheppard. A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, September 19, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church with Reverend Shane Baxter officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 18, 2014 at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches.
