Shawn Francis Hebert

1980 ∼ 2020

Shawn Francis Hebert, 40, of Port Neches passed away Thursday, October 8, 2020.

He was born February 19, 1980 in Port Arthur, Texas to Wade Anthony Hebert and Theresa Ann Pellerin Hebert.

Shawn was a lifelong area resident and member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Port Neches.

He was employed as a Process Supervisor with Exxon Mobil for 14 1/2 years.

Shawn was the greatest husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He enjoyed doing everything for his family. He loved going fishing and hunting with his great friends growing up. Once Evan came along, then he had a fishing/hunting partner for life. He was a great teacher to Evan and they were best friends. He loved nothing more than being with his family and watching Evan play sports. We enjoyed making memories at the lake that he called heaven on earth. When Laikyn came along, she was instantly wrapped around his finger. She is a daddy's girl. He also enjoyed being a girl dad playing babies, tea parties, getting makeup done by her, and watching her in pageants and recitals. He was the best all around dad that I could have ever hoped for for our children. I have been in love with him since I was 17, high school sweethearts, and I will continue to love him til we are reunited together one day.

Thank you for all of the prayers received during this devastating time of our life. We greatly appreciate it.

A visitation for family and friends will be Thursday evening October 15, 2020 from 4:00-8:00 PM at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Port Neches with a Rosary Service to begin at 6:30 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, October 16, 2020 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church with Reverend Shane Baxter officiating under the direction of Levingston Funeral Home Port Neches. Burial to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park.

Shawn is survived by his wife, Brynn Seaux Hebert, son Evan Hebert, daughter Laikyn Hebert all of Port Neches, parents Wade Anthony and Theresa Ann Pellerin Hebert of Groves, sister Kala Hebert Gohlke and husband Bryan of Port Neches, father in law and mother in law, Tommy and Denise Seaux of Port Neches, brother in law Bryson Seaux and wife Lauren of Groves, nephew Klate Gohlke, niece Channing Seaux, Godchildren Jude Gohlke and Ryder Seaux, grandparents, Clinton "Skeeter" Hebert and Rita Pellerin, and many other great friends and family.

Serving as pallbearers will be his very dear friends and cousins: Derek Rhodes, Josh Daniels, Robert Harrington, Blake Latiolais, Jared Abshire, Jordan Ancelet, Tyler Ancelet, Matt Ancelet, and Ryan Ancelet.

It was always fun hanging out with Shawn, back in the Nintendo/ tree house days. - Years later; every time we'd see each other, he would shout my name and give me a hug. He always made me and others feel loved and welcome. - God bless you guys.

Deeply saddened me when I got the news. We shared alot of conversations at work. Shawn shared his love for his wife and kids, and his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Shawn was a pleasure to be around, and I'm the better for knowing him. I'll miss him. But I know I'll see him again, soon.

I am so sorry for your loss Brynn! And all the family and friends. What a tremendous heartbreak and loss. I can't get all of you off my mind since this happened. Complete shock and sadness for all of you. I worked with You Brynn at Walgreens in high school and my brother Chris Roccaforte (Who passed in May this year unexpectedly) and I went to St. Catherine's with Shawn. He was in my brothers grade. I pray for peace and understanding in the days to come. Such a terrible year for so many and too many lives gone too soon. I'll never understand why but hold on to the memories you've had. I struggle with my brothers passing and don't know how to live without him. You have the best guardian angel and he's in a much better place than we are in that's for sure. Lots of prayers Michelle Roccaforte Hollier
