Shawn “Chuck” Michael Shields, 50, of Nederland died Monday, October 28, 2019. He was born on April 17, 1969 in Panorama City, California, to Robert Edward Shields Jr. and Francis Lee Shields. Chuck graduated Nederland High School in 1987 and was a lifelong resident of the city. He was a carpenter by trade and a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Nederland, TX where he met many friends and helped organize benefits for patrons and family members in need.
Chuck is preceded in death by his mother, Fran Shields. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Teresa Cahl of Nederland; daughters, Lindsey Smith and Lacey Seymour of Groves; father, Bob Shields Jr. of Nederland; brothers, Bob Shields III of Port Neches and Shannon Shields of Nederland; sister, Bobbie Tulipana of Colorado Springs and grandchildren, nieces, nephews, as well as countless friends and family.
A celebration of life gathering will be held Saturday, November 9, 12 noon at the Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Nederland Avenue.
