Sheila Spikes, 82, of Groves, passed away on Saturday, August 20, 2022, at Oak Grove Nursing Facility in Groves.

Memorial Service will be determined at a later date.

Sheila was born in Woodville, Texas, on December 26, 1939, she was the daughter of Henry Kirby Priest and Julia Aline Robertson Priest. Sheila enjoyed crafts, jewelry making & painting, winning many awards as a member of 4 Art Studios. She was a 68 year member of FBC Groves enjoying Bible Study & Senior Socials until being confined to home.

She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Kimberly Guidry.

She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Broussard of Groves, TX; Kathy Guidry of Groves, TX; Tricia Savoy and husband Steve of Burnett, TX; and Dana Aycock and husband Norman of Nederland, TX; nine grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren; sister, Frankie Jeter and husband Lonnie; niece, Gwen Jeter; nephew, Michael Jeter; former husband, Russell Bergeaux of Groves

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Beaumont Art League.

I’m so sorry to hear of Sheila’s passing we go back so far our kids playing together, going on picnics, swimming at Nibblets Bluff then our days we all decided to learn to play bridge and so many things! RIP. Blessings and Prayers to the family Love Caroline.
