Shelly Beth Jordan, 55, of Groves, Texas passed away Sunday, June 16, 2019. Shelly was born September 30, 1963 in Port Arthur, Texas to Amos Jean Hanes and Virginia Housman Hanes. She was a lifelong area resident, and was the manager of Groves Laundry Basket. Survivors include her husband, Alan Jordan of Groves; two sons, Ricky Collida, Jr. and wife Jordyn of Nederland, and Randy Collida of Port Arthur; sister, Kathleen West and husband Wiley of Bridge City; three brothers, Jean Hanes Jr. and wife Deborah of Groves, Gary Hanes of Groves, and Kelly Hanes of San Antonio; grandchildren, Easton, Levi, Chloe and Mary Collida. A visitation for family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves followed by the memorial service at 2:00 p.m.

I'm sending my prayers for the Lord Jesus to strengthen you and to give you peace and comfort in this loss of Shelly to all the family. I grieve with you. I knew Shelly and her family as a child growing up in the same neighborhood in Groves. I enjoyed knowing her as a child and into adulthood watching her grow into a beautiful lady enjoying and loving her children. Those memories of Shelly's life blesses me. She was always smiling when I would see her.....I will never forget her and I know she'll be greatly missed.

I am soo Sorry for ya'll loss I can not believe this is true and my heart is breaking for all of her family and friends. I worked with Shelly for awhile as I worked for Estelle's and also Groves laundry last year but would still stop in and say hello to her and Allen, it has been a month or so since I last saw her.
