Shelly Ann Smiley, 57, of LaBelle, Texas passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at her residence. Shelly was born November 3, 1962 in Port Arthur, Texas to Tommy Horton and Marjorie Johnston Horton. She was a lifelong resident of this area and was self-employed. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches with Reverend Ron Hammonds officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park. Visitation for family and friends will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at the funeral home. Surviving relatives include her husband, Rodney Smiley; father, Thomas Horton and wife Gloria; grandmother, Katherine Johnston all of LaBelle, Texas; sister, Melissa Doucet and husband Jody of Mont Belvieu, Texas; niece, Natalie Terrell and husband Ryan of Nederland, Texas; nephew, Adam Murdoch of Houston, Texas; aunt, Connie Meyer and husband Joe of Boerne, Texas; Leslie and Josh Orsak of Corpus Christi, Texas; and Adrianne Meyer of Boerne, Texas.

I am so sorry and my thoughts and prayers are with you all. Shelly and I had reconnected in the last few years and talked at length a few times about a cat I was thinking of getting from her. My heart hurts for everyone for such a great loss.
