Sherry Theresa Jones

Sherry Theresa Jones, age 78, of Nederland, Texas passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at Christus-St. Mary Hospital in Port Arthur. She was born on June 29, 1937 in Higginbotham, Louisiana to the late Joseph Venable and Louise Duplechain.

Sherry is survived by her sons, Kevin Barrilleaux and his wife, Michel of Nederland, and Darren Jones and his wife, Reana of New York; grandchildren, Kevin Jr., Sheree, Shane, Michael, Sean, and Meagan; great-grandchildren, Nathan, Aidan, and Israel. She is preceded in death by her parents and step-son, Mark Jones.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church on Monday, August 10, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with Father John Hughes celebrant. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A gathering of family and friends will be held prior to the service from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland.
