Sherylen Elizabeth Tate

Sherylen Elizabeth Tate, of Nederland, Texas, passed away January 12, 2016. She was born December 31, 1971, in Nederland, Texas to David DeRoche and Deborah Gant.

Sherylen is survived by her husband, Steven Tate of Nederland; parents, David and Deborah DeRoche of Nederland; son, Matthew Engelbrecht; daughters, Sidney Engelbrecht and Shelby Engelbrecht, all of Nederland; brothers, David DeRoche of Nederland and Michael DeRoche of Corinth, TX; sister, Sarah Sheffield of Krum, TX.

A gathering of family and friends will be Saturday, January 16, 2016, from 9 to 11 a.m. with funeral services beginning at 11 a.m., at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland. Interment to follow at Jacks Cemetery on Maple St. in Pineland, Texas, at 3 p.m.
