Shirley Mae Jones Havard, 84, of Groves, Texas passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2018. Shirley was born September 17, 1933 in Sugar Creek, Pennsylvania to Lesley Jones and Marie Kiskadden Jones. She was a lifelong area resident and graduate of Port Neches-Groves High School, where she was an original Indianette. Shirley retired from the medical office of Dr. James Shepherd as a cardio technician. Survivors include her husband of 24 years, Morris Havard of Groves, TX; three daughters, Kim Williams, Lori Ashford and husband Richard Ashford, Vicki Gonzalez and husband Ernesto Gonzalez all of Lago Vista, TX; son, Rex Bush and wife Lori Ann Bush of Mauriceville, TX; half-sister, Joanne Breene of Pennsylvania; and eight grandchildren. A visitation for family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 3, 2018 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend J. C. Coon officiating. Burial will be at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.
