Shirley M. Wallace-Miskimon

Shirley M. Wallace-Miskimon, 79, of Nederland, Texas passed away Friday, February 22, 2019 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. She was born February 18, 1940 in Port Neches, Texas to Jesse Lee Wallace and Loni Thomas Wallace. Shirley was a lifelong area resident and attended Wesley United Methodist Church in Nederland. She began her career as a teacher for 12 years before returning to college and earning her law degree. She then opened her own office and practiced law in Nederland. Shirley is survived by her husband, Don Miskimon of Nederland, TX., two daughters, Kim Busceme and husband Bubba of Nederland, TX., and Cassi Navarrete and husband Pierre of Nederland, TX., two sons, Les Sanford and wife Kat of Beaumont, TX., and Craig Sanford of Beaumont, TX., sister, Vicki Riley and husband Steve of Briggs, TX., and four grandchildren, Emma Sanford, Elizabeth Sanford, Claire Navarrete and Giselle Navarrete. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Ricky Wallace. A memorial service will be held Thursday, February 28, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Wesley United Methodist Church in Nederland with Dr. Douglas Caldwell officiating under the direction of Levingston Funeral Home.
