Sidney "Tiny" Vicknair, Jr., 65, of Beaumont, Texas passed away Thursday, December 13, 2012 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital. Sidney was born June 21, 1947 in Port Arthur, Texas to Sidney Louis Vicknair, Sr. and Betty Lou Rogers Vicknair. He was a lifelong area resident and member of Cowboy Church in Orange. He was a retired deliveryman from Billy Joe's Cafe. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sylvia Marie Vicknair and brother, Vance Ray Vicknair. Survivors include his loving wife, Sharon Vicknair of Beaumont; two daughters, Alicia Marie Johnson and husband, Bill of Vidor, Connie Marie Massey of Yoakum; two sons, David Wayne Day of Yoakum, Michael Lee Day and wife, Sandy of Corpus Christi; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 17, 2012 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Reverend Dale Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A visitation for family and friends will begin at noon Monday until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Friends wishing to make memorial contributions may send them to the Cowboy Church in Orange.

Sidney, you were my best friend for 50 years. We shared many good times playing football, camping and fishing. You will be missed. I'll see you one day when I join you with the father. Rest in peace.
