Sonja Fay Hinds Wilson, 74, of Port Neches, Texas passed away Monday, December 9, 2013. Sonja was born October 1, 1939 in Port Arthur, Texas to Ross Samuel Hinds and Ridley Havergal Scott Hinds. She was a lifelong area resident and member of Faith Baptist Temple. She was preceded in death by her husband, W. R. Wilson; daughter, Dana Stark; sister, Rita Anderson; and brothers, Avondale Hinds and Bruce Hinds, Sr. Survivors include three daughters, Denise Talbot and husband Barry of Nederland, Lori Roberts and husband Michael of Port Neches, Lisa Dillow and husband Paul of Groves; one son, Mike Guntner and wife Rhonda of Nederland; son-in-law, Brent Stark of Nederland; brother, Ethan Hinds and wife Ann of Orange; her special friends, John LeBlanc and Joni Duhon; thirteen grandchildren, Lori Wilson, Richard Wilson, Kurt Guntner, Misty Jensen, Jarrod Talbot, Devin Talbot, Morgan Talbot, Brandon Roberts, Blaine Roberts, Lachelle Nichols, Tara McMillan, Blake Stark, Taylor Stark; great-grandchildren, Cailynn Welch, Ashlyn Harvill, Whitney Harvill, Jace Harvill, Maya Guntner, Leesha Jensen, Macy Jensen, Kayden Talbot, Ava Talbot, Landon Roberts, Jaysa McMillan, Kenadee Billiot, Emma Stoyer and baby Roberts on the way. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Reverend Mark Humble and Reverend Charles Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday evening from 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
