Sophia Ann Holloway

Sophia Ann Holloway, 85, of Groves, Texas passed away Thursday, February 18, 2021 at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont.

She was born in Denison, Texas on November 28, 1935 to Frank Newton and Elizabeth Grubbs Newton.

Sophia was a lifelong area resident and retired from the Port Arthur News as secretary to the Director of Advertising.

She is survived by her two daughters, Kara Holloway of Beaumont, Texas and Allison Holloway of Groves, Texas, and sister, Jennifer Gillespie of Redding, California.

Sophia was preceded in death by her husband, R.B. "Dell" Holloway, Jr. and son, Scott Holloway.
