Stan Horton, Sr.

Stan Horton, Sr., 51, of Bridge City passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at The Hampton Hospital in Houston. He was the son of Glen Earl Horton, Sr., and Diane Abshire and was born on September 2, 1961 in Port Arthur. He was a lifelong area resident and proudly served his country in the U. S. Marine Corp. Stan was employed as a truck driver.He is survived by his mother, Diane Sonnier of Port Arthur father, Glen Horton and wife Sherry of Beaumont daughters, Shandalyn Horton of Colmesneil and Nikki Horton of Orange sons, Beau Horton of Colmesneil, Stan Horton, Jr., of Indiana and Trent Horton of Kirbyville sisters, Cody Ingram of Broussard, La., and Sophia Ranolls of Bridge City brothers Tim Horton Savoy of Garland, Arnold Horton of Houston and Glen Horton, Jr., of Vidor. Stan is also survived by grandchildren Jaydalyn Caddy, Evin Horton, Jaci Jackson, Alexis Horton, Braylon Marks and Chance Marks.Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Melancons Funeral Home 1605 Avenue H in Nederland. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, November 16, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. 8:00 p.m.

I was so very sorry to hear of Stans passing. I hadnt seen him in years, but I can still remember his smile. To all the family, again I am so sad for yalls loss, love prayers for all.
