Stephanie Gail Bodin, 64, of Port Neches, Texas passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont, Texas.

Stephanie was born on October 29, 1959, in Port Arthur, Texas to Clophina and Ernest “Sam” Cormier.  She was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Port Neches and was a wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker who loved her family dearly especially her grandchildren. Stephanie was known as the “Cat Lady”, always having cats at the house and had twelve at one time and at least 250 the family would estimate throughout her life.  She loved to take care of them and raise them and they loved her dearly. 

Survivors include her husband of forty-eight years, Bobby Bodin of Port Neches; her sons, Damien Bodin and his companion Corinne LaVergne of Port Neches and Blake Bodin of Port Neches; grandchildren, Kaleb Farrar, Abigail Bodin and Austin Bodin; her sister, Chere Dugas of Port Arthur.

Stephanie was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Clophina Cormier and her sister, Marcia Meche. 

Private Cremation Services will be held by the family at a later date.  Arrangements were under the direction of Melancon-Levingston Funeral Home in Nederland.
