Stephen Jay Broaddus, 62, of Port Arthur, Texas died Thursday, December 27, 2012 at his residence. Stephen was born May 25, 1950 in Beaumont, Texas to J.L. Broaddus and Elsie Guidry Broaddus. He was a lifelong resident of this area and a Carpenter at Valero. He was a member of the Catholic faith and the OCAW. Visitation for family and friends will be from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, December 30, 2012 at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches. Surviving relatives include his wife, Donna Hathorn Broaddus of Port Arthur, Texas; parents, Mr. & Mrs. J. L. Broaddus of Warren, Texas; mother-in-laws, Kay Hathorn and Evelyn Romberg, sisters, Kelly Henderson and husband, Andy of Warren, Texas; Dana Smith of Warren, Texas; sister-in-law, Debbie Murphy and husband, Ken of Austin, Texas; brothers, Tony Broaddus and wife, Shelley of Hemphill, Texas; Kerry Broaddus and wife, Cathy of Orlando, Florida; brother-in-law, Kent Hathorn of Port Neches, Texas; nieces and nephews, Robbie Smith, Cory Broaddus, Rebecca Broaddus, Allyssa Richard and husband Sydney, Ryan Hathorn, and Dallas Broaddus. My prayers are with your family at this sad time. I attended St. Mary's school in Orange with Steve and will always have good thoughts of Steve to remember.
