Stephen Christopher Crane, 27, of Groves, Texas passed away Thursday, November 8, 2012. Stephen was born September 25, 1985 in Port Arthur, Texas to Darwin Bruce Crane and Julia Ann Patterson Crane. He was a resident of Groves for 2 years and was formerly of Little Cypress. Stephen worked as an equipment operator for Strike Construction and was also a member of U.S.B.C. United States Bowling Conference. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Rose Patterson and grandfather, Don Crane. Survivors include his wife, Tami Crane of Groves; father, Bruce Crane and mother, Julia Crane of Little Cypress; daughter, Chloe Brooks of Groves; son, Kaleb Brooks of Groves; brother, Philip Crane of Mauriceville; grandfather, Billy Patterson and wife, Merl of Port Neches; grandmother, Frances Crane of Kirbyville; Donald and Patricia Todd of Farmington, MO; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday evening from 5:00 p.m. 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

It is not often, that someone comes into your life that is special and Stephen was. I will always remember the twinkle in his eyes and that wonderful smile of his. And knowing how special and how much he loved his family. You could tell that was his number one priority in life. I wish there were words I could say to take away your pain, but there are none. BRUCE,Julie,Tami Stephan was a out going when he was a kid and then he grew up and turned into a fine man. He was still out going and he loved his family so much .he loved to hunt,fish,and he loved to bowl I remember and have lots of memories of us bowling in tournaments all over the place .
