My name is George May I am the master on the M/V Holiday. When I first met Steve I was Master on the M/V C Installer. I new with in a few days of working with Steve he was very professional and believed in getting the job done in a safe and practical way not jeopardizing safety to personal and equipment. Steve was also a CVR you could talk to. If you had an issue with the vessel that needed to be addressed and could affect the current scope of the project. Steve would look at other phases of the project and move into a phase that would not be affected by issue being addressed. He would do everything in his power to keep the project moving forward. Steve was definitely a team player was well respected and liked by the entire crew.. He will be greatly missed! My prayers are with Steve and his family, George May

Prayers for peace and comfort for Andrea, the kids, grandkids and family. This is a tremendous loss for all of us who knew Steve. He was the best neighbor you could ever have, and he was a true friend. And you never had a doubt of just how much he loved and treasured his family, each and every one.

My sincere condolences to Steve’s family at this time of great loss. Though we lost touch years ago I still have my cousin childhood memories. He looks so much like Bubba. I’m happy that he has a large and loving family. I pray for you all. You each have your own special place in his heart.

When you and Andrea came by to visit us last Thursday, I never thought it would be the last time I would ever see you again my friend. Roland and I loved being around you and My Girl. We are so heartbroken to know this happened. Until we meet again, we will always carry you in our hearts. For The Good Times! ----Roland & Jeanette Weekly

I’ll go first. The first time I had the pleasure of meeting Steve, was at his crawfish boil in Winnie celebrating his birthday. He brought me to tears a few times because he made me laugh so hard. I pointed out his height (or lack thereof) and he pointed out how big my teeth were. From that moment on, he always made me laugh. My heartfelt sympathies to you, Andrea and to all the family. The world is truly a dimmer place without him in it. I’m so very sorry for your loss. I’m sorry for all our losses. We will miss you, Stingray Steve.
