Stevie Rae Hergert, 16, of Groves, Texas passed away Saturday, August 1, 2015. Stevie was born August 18, 1998 in Beaumont, Texas. She was a lifelong area resident and member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Beaumont. Stevie was a senior at Port Neches-Groves High School and was also employed as a cashier at Groves Market Basket. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Shirley Combest and Ross Combest. Survivors include her mother, Carmell Elizabeth Combest of Groves; and sister, Skyler Mae Hergert of Groves; aunt, Sheryl Combest; uncles, Rusty Combest, Ralph Combest, Bran Combest and wife Kathleen; and numerous cousins. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves, Texas. Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Beaumont. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
