Sue Ellen Sanders, 65, of Port Neches, passed away Friday, June 15, 2012 at the Medical Center in Port Arthur. She was born in Houston, Texas on September 5, 1946 to Rex and Meredith Rowley. Sue Ellen has resided all of her life in Port Neches and was a teacher at the Ridgewood Christian School.She is survived by her husband, Aaron Sanders of Port Neches son, David Sanders of Houston daughter, Charlene Rene Wersig and husband Dean of Nederland son, Steven Ryan Sanders of Port Neches son, Micheal Allan Ezzelle her mother, Meredith Baker sister, Celia Rowley brother, Benjamin Jarvis Rowley wife Jessica grandchildren, Aaron Brett, Adam Keaton, Abram Dean, Matthew , Mason, Micah, Mallory, Tabatha, and Thomas.Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Melancon39s Funeral Home in Nederland with Kyle Campise officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. The family will receive friends from 5 to 9 pm Monday at the funeral home.

So sorry and saddened to hear of Mrs. Sues passing. She taught our son Joshua this past school year and had promised him that she was going to be with him the next 6 years. He was not able to get away with anything with Mrs. Sue. She always encouraged Joshua to do his very . Mrs. Sue will be greatly missed and will not be forgotten. Sue was a sweet lady and we enjoyed being in The Johnsons Sunday School class with Sue and Aaron for many years at Ridgewood. We are blessed to have had the opportunity to get to know her. We will be praying for God to comfort all of you during this difficult time.
