Susan, JoAnn and their parents lived across the street from my aunt and uncle, Blanche & Stanley Ducote. Susan's parents were great friends with the Ducotes. I remember Susan was the best dressed student at NHS. Her mother, Oline, sewed her clothes. We shared Westernaires, Susan was on one of the drill team lines' end because she was short! Susan was an excellent dancer. She carried herself with grace at a young age. Over the years, we ran into each other and she was always so loving, friendly and caring. Oscar and family, my prayers for your sadness and loss of Susan.

Susan and I became became friend's when we were in elementary school, at Sycamore Priivate School .Wow! Do I have some old pics LOL. We lost track of each other thru the .lyrs, running into each other here & there. Even though I've always considered us to be friends. Lots of good memories growing up, my family did a lot of camping, lake tejas, and rayburn, I've laughed thinking about this the past few days. Susan and I would pop up in the morning in the camper early a.m. after giggling half of the night, LOL. ..aggravating my brother Jeff and whatever friend he had tagging along. Anyway, Oscar, Carol Lee and I are very sorry for your loss. I'm gonna hold on to my memories of all those years, and continue to smile when I do. Thank you God for giving us ours.
