Susan Carriere Havard

Susan Carriere Havard, 53, of Groves, passed away Saturday, August 11, 2012 at Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas. She was born on November 26, 1958 in Port Arthur to Harold Carriere and Gwyndolin Tipps Carriere. Susan was a lifelong resident of this area and a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Port Arthur. She retired as a bank manager from Bank of America after 18 years of service. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Reverend Michael Due of Trinity Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Susan was preceded in death by her father, Harold Carriere and brother, John Carriere. She is survived by her husband, Jackie Havard of Groves, mother, Gwyndolin Tipps Carriere of Groves, daughter, Elizabeth Havard of Groves, son, Jereme Havard and wife, Kacy of Nederland, sister, Rachel Walker and husband, Stephen of Port Arthur, brother, David Carriere and wife, Jill of Port Neches, two grandchildren, Jake Havard and Kiley Havard and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
