Susan Renee Riley Stansbury Susan Renee Riley Stansbury, 55, of Kountze, Texas passed away Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont surrounded by her family. She was born on December 6, 1961 in Port Arthur, Texas to Ronald Jessup Riley and Jocelyn Mae Dionne Riley. Susan was a Field Compliance Auditor with the Department of Public Safety for 23 years. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Reverend Don Sheffield of Cornerstone Baptist Church of Orange officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. A visitation for family and friends will be Monday evening from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Susan is survived by her husband Jon Stansbury of Kountze, two sons Caleb Lisenby and wife Enola of Hamshire, and Dylllon Leger and wife Kendall Smith of Lumberton, step son Jonathan Stansbury of Houston, step daughter Candi Stansbury of LaPorte, sister, Deborah McCarey and husband Pat of Orange, two brothers Ricky Riley, Sr. of Mauriceville and Randy Riley of Mauriceville, eleven grandchildren, Chevelle, Preston, Addie, Lilli, Hannah, Emma, Summer, Kheagian, Liam, Kaleb, and Eric and several nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be: Ricky Riley, Jr., Ben Stansbury, Darryle Stansbury, Phillip Stansbury, David Stansbury and Kirk LeLeax.

I was so sorry to hear of Susan's passing. She was such a wonderful person.I had known Sue since Caleb was a baby. i am so sorry to have lost touch in the last couple years. I recently ran into a mutual friend who informed me of her death. My prayers are with you all.

Susan was a dear friend not only as DPS friend but a lifelong friend. We shared many good times together. Susan gave me a memento that said," A friend loves at all times." that was Susan..So sorry I missed the funeral have been on vacation and did not know. I was shocked and saddened to hear of Susan's passing. We were classmates in school and I always thought she was the sweetest girl in our class. We lost touch until our last reunion. My deepest condolences to all her family. Susan and her huge smile and personality will be so very missed.
