Suzette Marie Ledet

Suzette Marie Ledet, 50, of Port Arthur, Texas died Sunday, April 18, 2010 at Houston Hospice-Texas Medical Center. Suzette was born December 24, 1959 in Port Arthur, Texas to Jules Ledet and Leetrice Chaisson Ledet. She was a lifelong Port Arthur resident and was employed as a medical transcriptionist for Christus St. Mary Hospital. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church and Golden Triangle Sertoma Club. She was also very active in Relay for Life and Mardi Gras of Southeast Texas. She was preceded in death by her father, Jules Ledet; grandparents, Nat and Berdie Chaisson. Survivors include her mother, Leetrice Ledet of Port Arthur; three sisters, Helen Lack and husband, Weldon of Groves, Natalie Cross of Baytown, and Jane Ledet of The Woodlands; one brother, Larry Ledet of Missouri City; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 23, 2010 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Monsignor Bennie Patillo officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday evening from 6:00p.m.-8:00p.m. at the funeral home.
