Suzette and I go back a long way. I first met Suzette at the St Mary Residency Program where we worked together. O what fun we had. Every year Suzette was first in line to see who was the cutest of the new bunch of, soon to be Drs. coming in. I still have a picture of her in my office from those days. Her smile and sense of humor will be truly missed on earth. But I know she will be at peace now.

I met Suzette through Sertoma many years ago before I moved to California. We had some wonderful times through Sertoma and other functions. I always thought she was a classy, fun and elegant woman and was so glad to know her and have her as a friend.
I was sad to learn of her recent passing but glad her suffering has ended. My sincere condolences to all of her family.
RIP ~ Suzette

I met Suzette when I joined Sertoma, and she was always sweet to everyone and always smiling. When she would come to meetings, we all knew how much she had been through and how much pain she was in, and yet she had a smile on her face. She put up a good battle and now she can rest in peace and without pain. I will miss you. O, by the way Suzette, if you happen to see Elvis, tell him Janet says Hi!

We are clay in the caring gentle Potter's hands. Kindly He breathes into us our souls so we can live. He carefully forms us into unique and beautiful shapes then breaks our molds. He mourns when we drift away to run our race and suffer life though near he be. But, He gives us eyes to see and ears to hear the beauty all around. Carefully He creates a love in us for others and for Him. He leads us along life's pathways so we don't get lost, though we may stumble still. Then when He cannot bear our absence longer He quietly calls out a song leading us home. We recognize our Masters voice and take His gentle unseen hand. How sweet the reunion and how tender His embrace. How magnificent the celebration when weve finished our tear-filled race.

I actually work with Jane, but Suzette and I were connected through cancer and MDAnderson. I went through stage 3 ovarian cancer in 2007. Suzette was a warm, loving woman and one hell of a fighter! She was so strong while going through treatment...she was such an inspiration. We are so thankful that she is at peace now, and is not in pain anymore. God definately has a beautiful angel now in heaven. Love to you Suzette, and all of the Ledet family.

I was blessed to call Suzette friend--she was genuine, kind, and had a precious sense of humor to match her beautiful smile. Suzette had an acceptance and peace with her circumstances and it reminds me of Colossians 3:15 "And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. And always be thankful." May God bless her family and friends with the peace that filled her heart.

I wouldn't know where to begin, to describe the many ways we will miss our brave, funny and unforgettable friend, Suzette. Beside her, we threw Mardi Gras beads from atop a float, and once even wrapped a house with her... she was the only one who was caught! We sang and danced at a Rod Stewart concert together as we named their potential children, and swam out to a coral reef in Cozumel with her leading the way she totally hosed me at swimming, by the way. Each experience was more fun because SHE was there. In our hearts, I know she'll always be there, because she's not one to miss out on any fun! Suzette, you always knew you were the only woman I would have let Danny marry if something happened to me hes in a bind now, huh? Ha - I guess it will have to wait until were all together again, where the good times will go on forever. Godspeed, my beautiful friend my heart aches at your loss, but soars thinking of the perfection you enjoy now. You were, and are, loved. Danny and Jan
