Sylvia D. Smith

Sylvia D. Smith, 83, of Groves, Texas passed away Thursday, June 11, 2020 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas. She was born January 18, 1937 in Crowley, Louisiana to D.D. Hoffpauir and Gladys Clark Hoffpauir. Sylvia was a lifelong Groves resident and was retired from General American Transportation Corp as a secretary. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 15, 2020 at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves under the direction of Levingston Funeral Home. Sylvia is survived by her brother, Doyce Hoffpauir, nephews, Paul Hoffpauir, Steve Hoffpauir and Skipper Werth and nieces, Roberta Green, Lisa Hoffpauir Granger, Johnnie Vercher Powell and Susan Werth Johnson.
