Ted Michael Lyon Ted Michael Lyon, 64, of Nederland passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2015. He was born on February 2, 1951 in Port Arthur, Texas to John B. and Patsy Soares Lyon. He was a lifelong area resident and was an IT Manager with Gulf Coast Machine & Supply for 41 years. Ted loved spending time with his family and relaxing at his lake house on Sam Rayburn. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 13, 2015 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Jeff Trahan officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be Thursday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Ted was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by Christina Lyon, his wife of 22 years, of Nederland, daughter, Lauren Lyon Kainer and husband, Matt of Houston, son, Ryan Thibodeaux of Lafayette, LA., sister, Tracy Hodge and husband, Dennis of Port Neches, three brothers, Craig Lyon of Groves, Charles Lyon of Nederland, and Glenn Lyon of Kingsland, one granddaughter, Gillian Thibodeaux and several nieces and nephews.

I am so sorry to hear about Ted. My Dad Dan Robinson worked with Ted at Gulfco for what seemed like forever. I hope Ted and my dad are IT talking with each other right now.

My heart is breaking for my sister Chris, and Lauren, Ryan and Gillian. Ted was a wonderful brother-in-law, one of the kindest, gentlest and most compassionate people I've ever known. He loved his family with all his heart. We miss him terribly but know that he with the Lord in paradise. Praying for healing hearts. Love y'all.
